A family enjoys lunch with Vegan Cauliflower on the Republic Day.
In the morning the sun rose with a golden hue, casting a warm glow through the windows of the cozy family home. As the family members woke up, there was an air of excitement lingering in the air. Here is a Vegan Cauliflower recipe that you can try:
Ingredients:
- 1 medium-sized cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 2 medium-sized onions, chopped
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon amchur (dried mango powder)
- 1 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes, salt, and cook for 2-3 minutes until they become soft and mushy.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and red chili powder. Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Put cauliflower florets in water, boil for 1 minute and then take out from the water and shallow fry. After that mix the spices well and cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes. stir occasionally.
- Add amchur (dried mango powder) and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
