A little anger is not bad but is natural. However, when anger gets out of control, it harms both the surrounding relationship and the health.

We observe that some people get angry very quickly so learning ways to control anger outbursts is essential for them.

They often become irritable and people around them want to stay away from them. Such people become irritable in traffic. When they have to wait due to the traffic, they get so angry that sometimes they even fight with others. They cannot control themselves under any circumstances.

A little anger is not bad, but is natural. However, when anger gets out of control, it harms both the surrounding relationship and the health. Relationships can be extremely bad at times and sometimes even break. Because what is said in anger is often quite bitter, which people cannot tolerate at all. Therefore, you should know how to deal with anger in a relationship.

Also, anger has a direct effect on health as well. Due to constant anger, people’s BP increases and stress hormones become uncontrolled, due to which their immune system also becomes weak. That’s why learning to control anger is important.

People also want to know-

Why do they get angry, so easily?

How can they get rid of their anger?

Before learning anger management techniques, it is important to know the causes of anger.

There are four main reasons for anger outbursts-

1. When People consider themselves the best.

When People consider themselves superior to others regarding their rights. They feel that both their needs and rights are better than those of others. Therefore, whenever there is a compromise on their needs and rights, they cannot tolerate it.

2. When people want to control others-

Sometimes, when one’s nature is to keep others in control. He wants people to obey his words the way he wants. When this doesn’t happen, they get very angry.

3. When people do not understand the feelings of others-

The third reason is that whenever people do not understand the feelings of others and do not try to know the meaning of their words, then they get angry. If they feel different from others, then they do not want to understand and they get angry.

 4. When people do not have control over themselves-

The people who do not know how to adjust themselves to any adverse circumstance, cannot tolerate any discomfort at all.

Therefore, to keep your anger under control, you should take care of a few things.

1. Learn to stay calm

You should practice staying calm. Staying calm means that no matter what happens or someone is saying something to you, instead of answering without thinking, you should answer thoughtfully, and remain calm.

Speaking without thinking becomes one of the causes of anger. While talking to someone, there is a situation which may trigger anger, you should control yourself, keep calm and try to understand the reality of the situation. So, try to understand the reality and only then respond to the person.

By practising staying calm in this way, you will find that your anger is rarely visible. Because now you are checking why you are getting angry.

If you understand the reason that makes you angry, you will find that in many situations the reason for anger is not justified. Then you will learn the habit of responding calmly.

Staying calm can be achieved by practicing meditation, yoga and exercise in your daily routine. This will help you to control yourself. It helps you to know how to control anger immediately.

2 When you blame others for your anger, it ruins your relationship.

When you blame others because of your anger, it spoils your relationship. And therefore, you must get rid of the habit of blaming others.  Whenever you accuse someone, that person starts defending himself. Sometimes he gets angry and blames you back. So, neither does it solve your problem, nor does it improve your relationship but it gets worse.

Instead of blaming others, you should share your problem. For example, if you feel that you have too much responsibility and work, talk about it whether it is at home or in your professional life. Tell your family or friends how you feel and what you expect from others.

So, when you put your point in front of others in this way, no one will have to accuse you in return. Rather, everyone will listen and understand your problem and try their best to solve your problem,

In this way, your relationship will be the best and your problem will also be solved. You learn how to control anger outbursts in a relationship.

3 Understand the feelings of others to overcome anger outbursts

Sometimes, people say,โ€™ I canโ€™t control my anger. Then try to understand the feelings of others. Whenever you talk to someone, understand his background. Where is he coming from, what are his circumstances and what is his point of view? When you understand this way, you will find that your anger is irrational. So, understand the point of view of others and then give your feedback.

Suppose someone is behaving strangely, instead of getting angry at him, try to understand what could be the reason for it. It may be that he is not well, he belongs to some place where people behave in the same way. So, start understanding people. You should learn anger psychology.

4 Add humour to manage outbursts of anger

The fourth point is to add a little humour to your life. Maybe you are too serious about your life. You can be serious about small things too, if this is the case with you too, then lighten your life a little. Learn to avoid some things that can be avoided with a smile. Don’t make everything too big.

However, there are some things that we cannot avoid. But there are many things that we can ignore without getting angry. Practice this in your daily life and watch your anger slowly go away.

5 Recognize What Can’t Be Changed

The fifth point is that sometimes we get angry with something that is not in our control. Like sometimes we get angry about the weather. For example, we discuss, why is the weather so hot or why is it raining so heavily. We all know that we cannot control the weather. Similarly, we get angry with the culture or traditions of any country or with the government. While these things are not in our control,
So don’t waste your time talking about them. It is not at all logical to get angry about those things, so distance yourself from such things.

Bottomline– You must remember to be mindful in your lives. No amount of anger is good for you. It not only makes others unhappy, but it does make you feel uneasy and upset. This life is to make yourself and others happy. So be cheerful, be kind and learn to overcome anger outbursts.
